KIM Insook (b. 1978, Osaka) is a contemporary artist whose practice has developed across Japan and Korea.

Encounters and relationships are approached as performative acts, working with the relationships and time that emerge from them. Projects are developed through working with people, and space is reconfigured using fragments of photography, video, sound, and objects that record these processes. Installations function as platforms for experiencing events and memories that arise within relationships, raising questions about fixed ways of seeing and social frameworks.
